Spain

Spain is one of those places that has something for everyone, from mountains to beaches and culture to good food. The capital, Madrid, has beautiful architecture, amazing food, and enough parks to wander around. But don't forget the other amazing places like Barcelona, Cordoba, and Ronda. And the less popular ones, such as Murcia, Altea, and Cartagena.

Northern & Western Spain are less travelled by the everyday tourist, but it has some wonderful things to offer. It's often referred to as the 'green' Spain, because of its rugged shores and mountain regions. It's home to dense vineyards in Galicia, the Picos de Europa near Asturias, and the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao.

Eastern Spain is home to many places with golden beaches, and Moorish-influenced history and cuisine. Along the coast is Barcelona, known for its Art Nouveau buildings. It's also home to Valencia and Alicante, known for their architecture and cuisine.

Southern Spain is likely the most visited region of Spain, with cities like Cordoba, Ronda, and the famous Alhambra fortress. This area of Spain is ideal for the spring road trip of your dreams.

The Balearics are known for both partying and their breathtaking nature. Ibiza is half for the party goers and half for the nature lovers. Menorca is known for its endless beaches, with turquoise watered bays, and quiet neighbourhoods. And Majorca is somewhere in between.

The Canary Islands are home to some amazing sights. Staying in Tenerife, you can visit the century-old volcano, El Teide, and visit the black lava sand beaches at the coast. On Gran Canaria, you'll find amazing walks, and visit the picturesque town of Mogán.
